Capitalism vs. Socialism - The Real Story

On January 11th 2012, Stuart Varney from the Fox Business Network defended Mitt Romney’s career at Bain Capital in a report called Capitalism vs. Socialism. However, when Texas Governor Rick Perry claimed that Obama was a socialist, the Socialist Party USA claimed that Obama wasn’t a socialist at all saying,

“Socialists know what Obama is: another corporate funded politician placed in the White House to protect the wealth and status of the 1 percent.”

Others deny Obama is a socialist by quoting the dictionary definition, and then asserting he doesn’t meet that definition. In another twist, the GOP strategist Frank Luntz attacks Capitalism saying,

“[The] use of the term ‘Capitalism’ is not healthy to conservatives and the term should be removed from the Republicans’ vocabulary.”

So the question is: who is right? This is the first in a series of articles, which will answer that question. To understand that answer, we will begin with the first known example of socialism – and it’s earlier than you may think.

Hoffa's labor union pitch is reminiscent of spring of 1933, when Hitler's National Socialists moved to eliminate opposition political parties.  In practical terms, the word "socialist" in the name of the Nazi Party did not refer to the nationalization of the means of production but rather to requiring the economy to serve the interests of the state.

As the political left drives the U.S. economy towards the brink of no return and an increasing number of average Americans find themselves in desperate financial situations, crime is on the rise and social tensions are rocketing towards a historic level in the land of milk and honey. 

Yes, I am predicting the Second American Civil War, but only because the political left is working around the clock to incite outright socio-economic and race warfare in America.

Unlike any prior American administration, this one is intentionally destroying what’s left of America’s free-market prosperity and now they are openly calling for all-out war on all patriotic Americans. Obama’s civilian army is ready to roll in the streets of the U.S.A. and as labor union leader Jimmy Hoffa, Jr. put it at a Labor Day weekend rally, “Let’s take these son of a bitchs out!” – telling Barack Obama that “we (labor union members) are your army and we are ready to march.”

President Barack Obama proudly accepts Hoffa’s call for war against the 88% of Americans who do not belong to labor unions.

Days before, leaders of the Democratic Socialist Black Caucus called upon blacks to begin race wars against white Americans in the streets, and make runs on U.S. banks to cause even more economic chaos during the most tumultuous economic time since the Great Depression.

In Cincinnati Ohio, Vice President Joseph Biden spoke to the AFL-CIO referred to patriotic Americans as “barbarians at the gate” and called upon all union thugs to “stand up” against American taxpayers who have been Taxed Enough Already.

Biden claimed that “this is a fight for the heart and soul of the labor movement in America” – and that this is the time for all union thugs to stand a fight against their sworn enemy, the American taxpayer.

Never before in U.S. history has an administration taken such overt actions to create a class/race war in America, using the army they built out of minority groups, without whom, a Democrat Party would not even exist today.

Democrats operating under the Democratic Socialists of America groups, the Black Caucus and Progressive Caucus, led by the Obama administration, have seized total control of the Democrat Party, the White House, the federal legislature and the federal judiciary.

One Day in September

Deserving its new Oscar status as Best Documentary, "One Day in September" reminds us that documentaries are rarely released theatrically and have long since been the province of television. This has led to the typical TV documentary being, creatively at least, dull in the extreme, consisting as it does of talking heads and a bunch of clips.

"One Day in September", by contrast, owes much to the craft of cinema, and includes huge amounts of ebb and flow, explosive scenes, quiet moments and the stirring use of music. The events themselves, stemming from the hostage-taking of eleven Israeli athletes by eight Palestinian terrorists at the 1972 Munich Olympics, are possessed of a natural drama and so prove of great benefit to director Kevin MacDonald (whose brother Andrew famously produced "Trainspotting").

Yet MacDonald employs the drama to heighten, not hype, the truth, and the sadness and hopelessness of almost every moment are never blotted out. READ ON

This event is nearly always viewed independently from the Cold War, as if is somehow transpired out of a vacuum. Were they acting on their own?

Rep. Allen West went on Steve Gill's radio show and called on Obama to remove Eric Holder as A.G. as a result of the 'Fast and Furious' scandal, or show he is 'complicit' and in agreement with Holder's actions. West also said a Special Prosecutor should be named against Holder.

"This is just another sad chapter in the Eric Holder book of ineptness and incompetence," West said. "Eric Holder needs to be brought before an investigative committee and if those charges are warranted he needs to be held accountable.

"At least the president needs to realize that Eric Holder needs to be removed from the Department of Justice ... or else it appears President Obama is complicit and in approval of the actions of his attorney general," he said.
