On September 19, 2013, Rep. Cynthia Lummis (R-WY) of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee asked Accountability Review Board Chairman Thomas Pickering if the 9/11/12 attack on Benghazi was about a plot to kidnap Ambassador Christopher Stevens. At first Pickering said he could not comment but after giving it some thought, he decided to expound on that.
He says, "I can't comment on that" a lot....
What he said was in direct contradiction to witnesses on the ground, who said Stevens was the "ultimate target" of the attack.
