Obama Was a Member of the Socialist New Party in 1996

Produced by Obama Files http://web.me.com/kzvideo/O...

In 2008 after the Democratic Party crowned Obama savior of the country and put Hillary Clinton on the back burner to simmer, a little known columnist named Stanley Kurtz began making some startling claims about Obama's past.

That he had extensive associations with ACORN. That he had been connected with ACORN's front group, the Socialist New Party in 1996. That he served on Leftist foundations with a man that had bragged about being a domestic terrorist in the 1960s, one Bill Ayers.

Of course in 2008 most of us had never heard of ACORN. Most of us never heard of Bill Ayers. Most of us knew that socialism had been tried and had failed many times and figured no one in their right mind would try to foist this discredited political system on America.

Or so we thought.

Obama, of course, as he does with all his enemies, began an ad hominem attack on Kurtz, using his Fight the Smears website to call Kurtz a "right wing hatchet man and conspiracy theorist," and denied any connection to the New Party, ACORN, or Ayers (we all remember the "just a guy in my neighborhood" comment). Factcheck.org checked Obama's facts, Media Matters said everything that matters, the mainstream media went on their merry way, and Stanley Kurtz disappeared

Or so Obama thought.

Kurtz went on to write Radical-in-Chief, detailing Obama's extensive ties to the New Party, ACORN, Ayers, and a host of other radicals and radical groups, but the mainstream media, again, wasn't interested.

At least until now.

It has become increasingly clear to the public, the Republican Establishment, and more and more to the mainstream media, that Obama has been trying to move the country towards European democratic socialism—the same democratic socialism that the New Party was trying to push in 1996.

So that it is not only that Obama was associated with a group in 1996 that pushed democratic socialism, but that Obama is trying to push this same failed ideology and policies on us today.

Of course the only problem with democratic socialism is it is the same system of government that the European countries whose economies are currently imploding operate on: A huge welfare state; universal healthcare; huge expenditures on "infrastructure" (Obama likes to call it "Stimulus); "Green" energy; all-powerful unions, etc., etc.

These European democratic socialist governments also tend to make a lot of noise about what they're going to do about their economies imploding, making demands for bailouts, refusal of "austerity," etc., but are basically powerless to determine their own destiny in the face of edicts from the European Union—i.e., they have lost their sovereignty.

And America is saying, Uh, we really don't want our economy to collapse, Mr. Obama. Capitalism isn't perfect but it's better than a system that is collapsing the economies of one country after another. And we don't particularly want to give up our sovereignty to the UN or some other world body. We like our country just fine. You can keep your "fundamental transformation," thank you very much.

And so America is waking up.

Conservatives are on fire.

The Tea Party that Democrats said was dead and Obama insulted as "Tea Baggers" had a huge impact on the Scott Walker win: We beat the union thugs at their own game, putting boots on the ground, manning phones, stuffing money into Walker's coffers.

And we had our secret weapon: the truth. The truth that unsustainable spending, unsustainable pensions, healthcare, entitlements is, well, unsustainable.

Oh, and by the way, Kurtz has uncovered a document that proves Obama was not only a member of the New Party in 1996, but signed a "Candidate Contract" promising to publicly support and associate with the New Party while in office.

Who would have guessed?
