A few days ago, I got some very traggic news. A childhood friend, who went to my 5-year-old birthday party, was involved in an accident. His house burned to the ground. He, his wife and child all perished in the fire. :(
Since I heard that news, I've had numerous, and obvious, close encounters with God in various ways, but mostly it has been unexpected things just entering my mind.
So last night went like this....
Part 1) I Read 1/2 of the book of Revelation, then tried to understand it. Didn't happen. Ever try to understand it? It's not easy.
Part 2) tried to figure out how to explain the fact that, traveling at 1 billion times the speed of light for a billion years, you would be no closer to the beginning of eternity than when you started....

I think I was probably like 3 or 4 years old the last time I heard that song.
All I can say is, God acts Suddenly. He's awesome. Get to know Him. He'll make your life different.
