US Congressional candidate David Seaman sums up this year's FY 2013 NDAA legislation, which today cleared the Senate in a 81-14 vote. The omnibus defense spending bill, although it contains some good stuff (such as enhanced support for military rape victims), also contains language which could allow for the imprisonment without trial of US citizens by the military, and the use of taxpayer money on domestic propaganda. Also, David questions why the media isn't giving NDAA a closer look, when it authorizes $633,000,000,000 in new spending next year alone. If we are serious about reducing the deficit and making America's economy as strong as possible, NDAA needs a closer look - and quickly!
