To most people, wishing for the death of terrorists is pretty non-controversial stuff. But then again, those people don't live in the bizarro world of the Washington Post's ombudsman.
Post blogger Jennifer Rubin drew the ire of ombudsman Patrick Pexton yesterday, because on her private Twitter account last month, she cited, or "retweeted," a link to an item by pro-Israel blogger Rachel Abrams. In the post, Abrams envisioned a violent death for Hamas terrorists who held Israeli solider Gilad Shalit captive for over five years. Abrams also noted that Hamas terrorists use women and children as human shields and train their youth to become suicide bombers.
