We just wanted to write a quick update to ask you to pray for some decisions coming up for us. Last week we had some doctor appointments which determined that Jason will need to have a hernia repair done and Eden will need to have some further testing done on her hearing. These would be relatively minor concerns if we were Stateside but since we are in PNG (Papua New Guinea)[emphasis added], these things will require leaving the country to seek medical help. We are weighing the options of either flying to Australia (our whole family) or flying back to the States (just Jason & Eden) and have found that the latter option may be actually be the least expensive. Before we determine what to do we need to see that we can actually set up appointments rather quickly (possibly late July and be back in less than a month). If we head to Australia, the medical visa process can be very long and our cheapest flight option is in several weeks, assuming as well that we can make appointments closely following our arrival.
Please pray that the Lord would line up the appointments, flights, visas & finances and show us the best thing to do.
